You are the mayonnaise on my sandwich.

Mayonnaise, as we know, is a product made from egg. In the meantime, you can find very good vegetable alternatives in the grocery shops. But you can also make the mayo yourself.

▽ 200g silken tofu*

▽ 100ml rapeseed oil

▽ 1 tsp apple cider vinegar

▽ 2 tsp mustard

▽1 pinch Kala Namak* (optional)

▽1/2 tsp sea salt



  1. Beat all ingredients (except the rapeseed oil) with a hand blender until creamy. Slowly add the rapeseed oil step by step and mix again.

  2. Finished.



If you want to replace the soy, you can add 150g soaked sunflower seeds instead. Or 1 cooked potato also provides a creamy consistency. It can also be replaced with 200g coconut, oat, almond or soy yoghurt.

The kala namak only provides an egg flavour and is not essential for this recipe.
