You are the ketchup to my fries

There are a few things in the kitchen that I wanted to banish forever. One of them is the commercial ketchup. The recipes from the health food shops no longer meet my needs either. So I had to come up with my own recipe. And something healthy, free of white sugar and without a lot of planning and preparation effort.

It took my children some time to get used to it, but over time they got used to it and it has now found a permanent place in our kitchen. Goodbye ketchup from the plastic bottle!

Ingredients

▽ 4 dates

▽ 2 dried tomatoes

▽ 4 cherry tomatoes

 

Preparation

  1. Soak dates for 2 hours. (*see alternatives if you want to do it quickly).

  2. Mix all ingredients.

  3. Ready.

 

Soaking options

No time to wait 2h for the dates to soak? If you want to do it quickly, you can soak them in hot boiled water for 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can use Medjol dates, which are easy to blend without soaking.
